Paintball Mask Maintenance!

Goggles are the single most important piece of equipment you own! Proper maintenance and cleaning is an essential part of ownership and personal responsibility. Clean your goggles after everyday of play.

Lens care: Remove your lens from the goggle frame carefully, (Some goggle sytems will require you to take the frame off the entire mask to do this), clean the lens with warm water or an approved goggle spray cleaner. Use toilet paper or a micro fibre cloth to clean and dry your goggles...not paper towels or any abrasive type cloth or towel!
Clean the grooves where the lens makes contact with frame. Remember to clean both the frames and the lens.

Goggle Foam: Have you ever wondered why sweat seens to run straight into your eyes?
Dirty foam is often the cause! The foam can only absorb so much then it will overflow just like the sponge it is. Clean your foam by rinsing it out with clean water...then use a paper towel to press the water out of the foam. On hot humid days you may need to do this several times during the course of the day.
If your foam is loose or has completely detached from the frame you can repair this by glueing the foam back on the frame with a super glue type of adhesive. (remove the lens before doing this and wait a minimum of 24 hours before using the goggles)
Those few minutes of care can really amp up your playing experience.

Strap Care: Straps keep your goggles on your face and in turn protect your eyes!
Inspect your straps for wear and broken/missing components. If your straps are worn out you must replace them! Straps are cheap, your eyes are priceless.
